Dragon Ball Z Movie 14 News

Some new details about Toei Animation's 14th animated theatrical Dragon Ball Z movie via Kanzenshuu and DB-Z.com: the title could be "The Mightiest Make Their Move".  The director is Masahiro Hosoda (known from several Cell Games episodes), the script is written by Yūsuke Watanabe, and animation direction will be done by Tadayoshi Yamamuro (a veteran of the franchise).  It will be released in Japanese theaters on 30 March 2013.  Akira Toriyama appears to be “deeply involved” with the script and has written a special note:
"It’s rare, or I should say, it’s the first time, that I’ve been deeply involved with the animation from the scriptwriting stage. As it had been a while, there was a lot I’d forgotten, but as expected of the creator of the original work, I was soon able to get back into the tempo of things, at least. For this film, while leaving the atmosphere of the original intact, we’ve added just a little bit of modern flavor, so I think it will be an enjoyable piece of entertainment, just like old times."

Will Raging Blast 3 Fanwish Project Become a Reality?

Treevax and other Dragon Ball fans met the complete team of producers of the Dragon Ball games from Namco Bandai, backstage at the Japan Expo on July 7th 2012. He presented 25 sheets of his Raging Blast 3 Fanwish Project during a meeting of 1h30min! This consists of a synthesis of the global demand
from the fans for a new Dragon Ball game: new and improved character creation, better battles against giants, anime-like explosions, gameplay improvement etc. Each sheet is downloadable in HD here. The whole Namco Bandai team was very interested it seems. Further points that have been officially confirmed: the agreements between Shueisha (rightholder of DragonBall) and Namco Bandai force them to release a next-gen system game each year. And Mirai Gohan’s “one arm” version of the character cannot be incuded in games due to age restrictions. Let's hope that Namco Bandai takes these fan demands into consideration for their inevitable Dragon Ball 2013 game! Read a transcript of the meeting here.

Dragonball Z Kinect Super Saiyan Bardock Trailer

Following up right on the heels of their Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection announcement, a new trailer from Namco-Bandai at Japan Expo today confirms Episode of Bardock as an inclusion on the upcoming Xbox 360 game Dragon Ball Z For Kinect. Additionally, Super Saiyan Bardock will be playable in the game.

A rating for the game’s video content by the British Board of Film Classification this past February mostly spilled the beans, noting a “special movie” with a run-time of just under 20 minutes would be included with the game.
Episode of Bardock was originally released as a three-part “sequel” manga by Naho Ooishi in the August, September, and October 2011 issues of V-Jump in Japan, and later received an animated adaptation that debuted at the end of 2011 at Jump Festa.

Dragonball Z: Budokai HD Collection offically announced

The Dragon Ball Z: Budokai HD Collection for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 has just been officially announced for a winter release during a live stream of Japan Expo currently taking place in France. The collection will contain the first (originally released for the PlayStation 2 and Gamecube) and third (originally released for the PlayStation 2) Dragon Ball Z / Budokai games — the second game will not be a part of the collection. It is important to note that this is a collection of two games from the first trilogy of fighting games from that generation, and not the Sparking! / Budokai Tenkaichi games as previously hinted at.
